New Pain Relief Offered
Pain Pumps offer a portable after surgery pain management system that delivers a long acting local anesthetic to the surgical site to control pain. This system has been helpful in patients undergoing tummy tucks, breast augmentation, and breast reduction surgery. This system is able to relieve your pain without causing drowsiness or other side effects (hallucinations, constipation, and nausea) that are associated with narcotics. Depending on your procedure and pain tolerance, short term use of narcotics may still be required.
The ACCUFUSER® pump is ideal for regional or local anesthesia approach to control acute post operative pain. The ACCUFUSER® pump delivers a continuous fixed rate infusion of non-narcotic local anesthetic to the surgical site through a catheter which is inserted at the site during surgery. The ACCUFUSER® PLUS adds an optional bolus-dose button to allow patients to self-deliver additional local anesthetic for enhanced pain relief and satisfaction. The non-latex ACCUFUSER® pump is safe, simple and lightweight, so that patients can take it with them anywhere they go during their recovery.
Aquecool Rapid Recovery System
Aquecool is a fully electric therapeutic cooling system that improves your recovery by providing safe, natural, and convenient relief from pain, swelling, and bruising.
If you live alone or have a non-nurturing partner or have had previous experience with wet linens from melted ice, then this is the answer to your prayers! This system has a compact cooling device that circulates cool water through a comfortable, form fitting facial or breast application specific pad, delivering cool therapy (40-50º F) directly to the surgical site.
